Ula
Tarasiewicz
Photo Wallpaper
Work in progress. Ula
Tarasiewicz’s work bases on photo wallpaper as a substitute
and sublimation of reality, a pseudo-view and a visual buffer between
our dreams and the world around us. It plays with the idea of photo
wallpaper as functional art.
Ula Tarasiewicz was born in 1975 in Zgierz. She attended the National
Film, Theatre and Television School in Lodz, where she also worked
as Promotion Department Administrative Assistant in the years 2003-2006.
One of the co-founders of Fotoprosba, an association embracing candid
photography artists, a member of Furrybambi group, exhibition organizer,
a true believer in joyful creativity.
Her work has been presented in many solo and group exhibitions, such
as:
2003 - a solo exhibition at the International Photography Festival
in Lodz
2004 - a solo exhibition at Cafe Karma, Warsaw
